TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Rocktop Academy cannot guarantee any player a scholarship, financial assistance, or anything of related to scholarship money. The only thing that we can offer is playing time and the opportunity to play in front of college coaches, whether that be D1, D2, D3, Junior College D1, Junior College D2, and/or NAIA. We are not held responsible for how a player performs during games. We reserve the right to play players how, when and in what games we see fit. Not every player is guaranteed to play in every game and/or event.

If at any time a player causes problems with the coaches, housing, mentors, spectators, and/or players we have the right to punish players as we see fair. If players continue to cause problems we reserve the right to send a player home with the possibility of no return. If this happens, all payments will seize if payments are up to date. If payments are not up to date, the overdue payments are still due and legal action may be necessary.

In order to secure a place at Rocktop Academy a deposit must be made. After 5 business days, this deposit is non-refundable. All payments are due the 1st of every month until the entire bill is paid, no exceptions. These payments begin August 1st, unless given another date or if a player is to start late. After 5 days there will be an additional charge of 10% of the monthly payment due. If a player’s payment is overdue a month or more, we reserve the right to send said player home and possibly ask him not to return.

Rocktop Academy is not a school. Rocktop Academy is simply a basketball program. A player or parent may not sue Rocktop Academy for anything academic related. A player or parent/guardian may not slander Rocktop Academy about anything pertaining school related issues. Rocktop Academy is not claiming to be a school. All schooling and/or educational assistance is outsourced.

Not all events, trips, flights, and/or travel are guaranteed in the tuition. Food is not provided on trips and/or at housing locations unless specifically addressed. If a player and/or parent is unsure of what is included in their specific tuition please make a call to a director. A player may not sue due to not getting in school, the housing, when and where a player was played, and/or the terms in which a player was dismissed from the academy.

Rocktop Academy is a drug-free program with a longstanding commitment to provide a safe, quality-oriented and productive environment consistent with the standards of the community in which the company operates. Alcohol and drug abuse poses a threat to the health and safety of persons at Rocktop Academy and to the security of the company’s equipment and facilities. We reserve the right to drug test personnel when we suspect drug abuse.

By signing up, you are agreeing that you understand the terms and conditions as seen above. You are also agreeing that you are either the player or parent who will take financial responsibility for the tuition. If you are a player you are agreeing that you are at least 18. Although you are not legally bound to enroll at Rocktop Academy, you are legally responsible for understanding these terms and conditions if you enroll.

If any provision in these Terms of Use is held invalid, the remainder of these Terms of Use shall continue to be enforceable. If any provision in these Terms of Use is deemed unlawful, void or unenforceable, then that provision is deemed severable from these Terms of Use and the remaining provisions are still valid and enforceable.

HOUSING POLICY.

Housing at prep school can be fun for our athletes, but it is important that we are respectful to our neighbors and to ourselves. Athletes are required to clean after themselves and share in rotating chores.

Note: There is a $500.00 Move-In Fee

House Rules:

  • Keep noise at a respectful level – No loud noise after 9pm
  • House must be kept clean at all times
  • Be respectful to your roommate
  • No fighting
  • Be respectful to the furniture
  • Make sure guests understand the rules

If an athlete breaks and/or damages anything in the house, he will be responsible financially.

FOOD POLICY.

Although, athletes at Rocktop Academy have the option of buying their own food; food could be a potential problem at any secondary prep school. Every athlete eats differently for various reasons. To solve this problem, Rocktop Academy provides ‘house food’. House food is typical non perishable goods that can be found in any pantry. This includes:

  • Pasta
  • Sause
  • Cereal
  • Pancake/Waffle Mix
  • Seasonings
  • Vegetables
  • Bread
  • Eggs
  • Cooking Essentials

Rocktop Academy does not provide meats, snacks, and/or drinks.

Unless specific instruction is given, no athlete is permitted to deep fry food or use excessive amounts of oil to cook.

Rocktop Academy does offer athletes an option for athletes to pay a weekly fee ($20-25) for agreed upon foods of their choosing. Athletes who agree to this food plan will be in a pool with other athletes to decide said foods. Unused money will go to buffets and/or outings for said athletes.

Rocktop Academy does not provide food for athletes outside of house food. Athletes must feed themselves on trips.

HOTEL POLICY.

It is important that Rocktop Academy athletes conduct themselves in an appropriate, responsible manner when on trips and in hotels. This means, no loud noise, cleaning up after oneself, no drugs and/or alcohol, no running in the halls, loitering, and any other inappropriate conduct.

Hotels rate their occupants. It is imperative that Rocktop Academy occupants receive the highest rating possible during their stay.
